The Gate to a German Military Cemetery just inside France. Here there are over 3,600 graves of German soldiers who died in the final battles for France in 1944/5. The graveyard is maintained by the German Graves Commission as are the many other locations throughout Europe.
While not the most joyful thing to photograph the somber impact stirs deep emotions in every person.
