Iguana's run loose in South Florida and those that are protected such as this one in a Nature Garden can grow very large. This guy(girl?) was about 4 foot long - nose to the end of the tail. Rather passive until we got within about 8 feet then took off at a frantic pace. While this one was rather mon-tone many will exhibit some beautiful coloring.
