This etching is signed by the artist but is unknown as to the artist's name. It is theorized to be completed by an artist in France in the 1800's as this style was popular then to illustrate books and poems. It is unique because of its size and detail. Each line of the grass and trees is defined even though the size is only 2 3/4" x 2". The size of the sheet framed is about 12 1/2" x 12" making a fitting display for the miniature etching. A wonderful piece to make a statement in a grouping or smaller wall area.

It is framed in an Antiqued Gold Frame and Ivory Museum matte.
