Besides the normal matte their is a inner wood-like second frame that holds the image away from the glass and gives you the opportunity to appreciate this real depth the images impart. Barbara Trombley
Born in Detroit in 1950, Barbara Trombley grew up drawing, painting and observing. She loved color, people and each day. Her life was influence by cartoons, urban innovation and the softness of nature. Today, Barbara is an artist, color designer and business owner.
Barbara’s art is diverse in subject matter, style and medium. A different experience awaits you with each piece.
Whimsical Worlds: Rocks that float, objects that confound the eye, structures that defy gravity, and of humorous little guys and gadgets that connect in imaginary ways in imaginary places. It is said these pieces are Rube Goldberg-esque. Each drawing is meant to delight and bring humor. They are about the question of balance and making sense of our every day lives.
